I love Tsai’s approach to reveal interviewees’ unspeakable joy and shame, by simply blowing up their facial features, usually unpleasant ones, being as flaw as they get. It’s courageous behavior art.
If this is truly what getting Alzheimer's feels like. The cruelest thing, is to see your loved ones fade away, and there's nothing you can do to make it any less painful. This movie hurts me so much so I finished it with a broken heart and plenty of tears.
